J&J Fabrications prides itself on the quality of workmanship, which emulates from the high standard of training given to its employees. Our workforce of 40 employees have each been trained in the use of at least 3 pieces of machinery appertaining to the manufacture of skips allowing them to be very versatile when a member of the workforce is either sick or absent. During 2004 the company invested in a large amount of tooling to both improve the quality and speed in the production of skips. By March 2005 we were able to produce 16 skips per day with ease, thus being able to keep costs to a minimum. We are presently developing a process which will improve these figures drastically thus being very competitive in the market place.
At present the company has 3 pressbrakes and 3 guillotines which will cut up to 12mm thick, giving the company greater scope to manufacture every single component appertaining to the manufacture of skips. Other equipment includes a cropping machine, CNC punching machine, various presses, 18 CO² welding machines and a fully equipped toolroom to make all tooling to reduce the time in the manufacture process. All of our equipment is of high quality and is maintained on a regular basis.
